Dagesh | Rückblick: Dagesh-Netzwerktreffen anlässlich der Buchpremiere von Anna Schapiro
In this episode, moderated by Nicole Schweiß, she talks with Sebastian Mohr from SABRA, Sergios Voilas from the Interorthodox Centre of the Church of Greece and colleagues about their project Erase the Hate beyond the Blackboard – an initiative adapting and contextualising digital educational tools on antisemitism and Holocaust remembrance for Greek educators. Through a study visit to Düsseldorf and a seminar in Athens, the project fosters professional exchange, enhances pedagogical resources, and promotes cross-cultural understanding between Germany and Greece.
Over the coming weeks, all EAP projects will be introduced and featured in the EPNA podcast series, sharing insights into their ideas, challenges, and visions for a more inclusive future.

“Historical responsibility cannot be voted away.” With these words, the Buchenwald and Mittelbau-Dora Memorials Foundation called on the federal and state governments last Sunday to legally safeguard the independence of memorial sites – particularly in Saxony-Anhalt – by: through funding structures that ensure these institutions remain operational even in the event of a politically motivated withdrawal of state funding; through the targeted involvement of smaller memorial sites and local initiatives; and through the expansion of existing networks for joint educational work, legal advice and public support in the event of attacks on the institutions and their staff.
