Dagesh | Rückblick: Dagesh-Netzwerktreffen anlässlich der Buchpremiere von Anna Schapiro

On May 6, Dagesh invites you to a screening and discussion with filmmakers from our network as part of the Jewish Film Festival Berlin-Brandenburg (JFBB). On the occasion of the industry day JFBB Pro, completed films as well as projects in development will be presented and discussed with the filmmakers. Works by Irina Dzhus (ANTICON), Matan Tal (My Sister Shira), Marcella Moreno (Shemira), Ron Segal (ADAM), and Soso Dumbadze (Ein Zufall) will be featured, among others.
Following the event, the next Dagesh networking meeting will take place, where the creative exchange with the artists can continue. Further information on the festival, programme, and registration will follow here.

“Historical responsibility cannot be voted away.” With these words, the Buchenwald and Mittelbau-Dora Memorials Foundation called on the federal and state governments last Sunday to legally safeguard the independence of memorial sites – particularly in Saxony-Anhalt – by: through funding structures that ensure these institutions remain operational even in the event of a politically motivated withdrawal of state funding; through the targeted involvement of smaller memorial sites and local initiatives; and through the expansion of existing networks for joint educational work, legal advice and public support in the event of attacks on the institutions and their staff.
